"Eliza Waldman is the most talented music teacher. Eliza is an accomplished musician who brings her expertise, talent, and, mostly importantly, a strong ability to engage our son, who is a typical 4th grade boy who finds it hard to focus on most things other than Minecraft. Harrison switched to Eliza after working with his former teacher. To quote our son, "Eliza reviews the previous lesson and moves onto something new in a fun, engaging way. Eliza makes me enjoy creating music based on my favorite hobbies..." We will miss Eliza!"

"My son took lessons with Eliza for nearly two years. Eliza was extremely patient and took the time to really get to know my son. She helped him to tap into his creative side, writing songs together. She helped foster his love for music. We were sad to lose her when she moved."

"In the beginning I came to Eliza to learn to play guitar but I learned so much more from her. Not only was I performing on stage within six months, but I was reading music, playing guitar, and singing. Our weekly lessons focused around songs I was interested in learning. With the song in mind, she developed music lessons including vocal exercises, rhythm exercises, guitar technique lessons, and on top of that was learning to read music. She was always prepared and her knowledge base is really amazing. She was always on time for lessons and was very accommodating to my hectic schedule, too. All in all, I am completely satisfied with everything I learned and she will be sorely missed."

"Eliza is a professional musician who has a gift for teaching music to children. Eliza taught my 8 year old boy/girl twins how to play the piano for 1 1/2 years. She came to our home in suburban Philadelphia weekly and spent 45 minutes with each child. Eliza is patient, persistent and adaptive. She is reliable, never cancelled lessons and arrived on time. Eliza tailored her teaching to fit the tastes and interests of each of my children, which inspired my kids to practice piano. Despite occasional push-back from my daughter, Eliza never lost her temper or appeared frustrated. Instead, she would redirect the conversation and approach the lesson from a different perspective. We will miss Eliza and wish her the best in NYC."

"Eliza has been teaching guitar to my 9 year old daughter for nearly 2 years. She is patient yet firm with her, keeping her focused and interested by mixing technique with music that engages her. My daughter now plays every single day (with no nagging from me!) because Eliza has instilled a real love of music in her. She has exceeded my expectations in that she not only has taught her to read and play music, but challenges her to compose her own songs. My daughter looks up to her as a musical role model and genuinely loves the guitar thanks largely to Eliza's talented coaching."
